Another 1080p HD PMP – the Onda VX575 tablet

Astroboy in 1080p on your TV you say?!

Are small PMPs really this popular in Asia? They seem to be proliferating at the same rate of eReaders.

This time it’s the Onda VX575 PMP tablet. Onda has only released limited information on the VX575. There’s no mention of screen size or resolution, only that it can play the same familiar video codecs as the other HD PMPs and output 1080p through an HDMI port. The entire release sounds like they’re trying to distract you with a shiny bauble that is 1080p output.

What’s the storage capacity you ask? Worry not your pretty head, this outputs 1080p HD! Price? Inconsequential to a device that can stream 1080p HD to your TV! When will it be available? Watch this awesome clip of Astroboy in 1080p HD!
