Video walkthrough of the Teclast K3 eReader

The last time we mentioned Teclast we discussed the then newly announced K3 eReader. With the ability to talk we wondered what would it would say if granted self-awareness.

Now we have the first review of the Teclast K3 talking eReader by E-Reader-Info. We find it somewhat ironic that the video has no talking in it. Sadly, there’s also no demonstration of the text-to-speech available in both Chinese and English. The video shows a nice walkthrough of all the K3’s functions, response time and different buttons. All in all we have to say it looks very crisp and responsive. We especially like the back-facing page turning buttons.

The 6-inch E-Ink screen device has 4GB of storage, an SD card slot, supports ePub, PDF and Word (among others) and goes for $229.
