Sungworld shows off a 7-inch Android tablet MID with ARM processor

The Sungworld Android MID tablet

Here’s a decent looking MID tablet from Sungworld that runs Android and has an ARM926 processor. What makes this as-of-yet unnamed MID stand out is the possibility that it could be very reasonably priced.

Sungworld has previously released a netbook for $73, and while there’s no official word of price on the Sungworld tablet yet, it should follow a similar strategy. The MID has a 7-inch touchscreen with an 800×480 resolution, 2GB SSD, 512MB of RAM (or 128MB — we have conflicting information but we sure hope it’s the first) and 1080p video support and streaming via its HDMI cable. It also has an SD card slot, 2 USBs, audio in/out and come in a variety of colors: pink, purple, blue, green and black.

It’s possible we may see the product for sale by the end of the month, but we’re not holding our breath. We’re still on the lookout for price and will update once we get it.
