Sungale's Cyberus Smart Info eBook

The Cyberus Smart Info is a slab tablet with 7-inch multi-touch screen TFT LCD screen with an 800×480 pixel resolution. It has built-in Wifi capability that gives you access to weather forecasts, news updates, real-time stocks, Gmail alerts, driving directions, YouTube and IP Radio. Although it doesn’t state it, going by the product description and pictures of the interface, it looks like it uses a cloud computing concept similar to Jolicloud to run programs.

In addition to eReader functionality that supports PDF, TXT and HTML, the Cyberus Smart Info has a calendar, clock, notepad, alarm, photo viewer (JPG, TIF, PNG, BMP) and video (AVI) and audio player (MP3). It also has an additional SD card slot for increased storage. There’s no word on how much internal storage the Smart Info has, but if our guess is correct about it tapping into the cloud then it’s bound to be minimal. Still, all that in a package that costs less than a nook or Kindle isn’t so bad. It’s listed at Amazon right now for $239.
