Samsung just announced their entrance into the eReader foray with the E6 and E10 eBook readers and they’re certainly not aimed at the common consumer.

Samsung’s new E6 (a 6-inch) and E10 (a 10-inch) eReaders both feature touchscreens, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, but no 3G capability. Both allow for handwriting directly on the screen and a soft QWERTY keyboard. Samsung has also built in a nifty slider that gives the user access to Home, Menu, Back, Link and directional controls. Google has also been announced as a content partner.

The E6 and E10 are expected to be onsale “early 2010″ and cost you a whopping $399 for the E6 and $699 for the E10. Unless these eReaders come complete with an Alchemist’s guide on how to change lead into gold we don’t see Samsung storming the market.
